I keep using reason, in part because I feel like this is the only way I’m going to get familiar with its patches. The Kaossilator’s 100 patches I feel pretty comfortable with, but the hundreds in reason I barely know. Tonight, I continued exploring the rhythmic patches, which are really neat. I feel like the whole minute is waiting for something interesting to happen to the drums, but I really need some work on my drum sequencing, so that’ll have to wait for another iteration.
