So in a good super nintendo RPG, there would be a level where you first visited some castle where a boss lived. It was a little creepy and all kinds of epic, and that’s where we ended up tonight. I was trying to do something where I didn’t lay down drums and bass first, but instead started with a melody, which mean that by the time I got to soloing over it, there weren’t many instruments that could come in over what I already had. It’s definitely different, and what makes me pretty happy.
