This is the first track I’ve done in Ableton Live that I’m feel comfortable with, and I still feel like I have a ways to go. But, I think it has a more interesting melody than usual, and I’m strongly considering a go at an arrangement with vocals… but, we’ll see what this weekend yields.
After meaning to for a month, I finally did shots of my bass’s tuning pegs. The set of the shots is available on flickr.

This is sort-of a tutorial, sort-of a demo, and all pretty awesome. It gives a good feeling for new modes of performance and composition that are becoming available.
